Council Tax Payment Arrangement

We understand that financial difficulties can affect anyone. If you're having trouble paying your council tax, we offer support through an Income and Expenditure Form to help you set up a fair and manageable repayment plan.

What Is the Income and Expenditure Form?

This form allows you to share details about your income, household expenses, and any debts. It helps us understand your financial situation so we can work with you to agree on a realistic payment arrangement.

When Should You Use It?

You may be asked to complete this form if:

  • You have council tax arrears.
  • You've received a court summons for unpaid council tax.
  • You’ve contacted us to request a special payment plan.

What Will You Need to Provide?

The form asks for:

  • Income details (e.g. wages, benefits, pensions)
  • Monthly living costs (e.g. rent, food, utilities)
  • Other financial commitments (e.g. loans, credit cards)
  • Bank statements (to confirm the income and expenditure you declare)

Why It’s Important

Accurate and complete information helps us assess your situation properly and offer the right support. Missing or incorrect details may delay the process or result in unsuitable arrangements.
