The Council has an ‘employment support’ scheme that offers practical help and assistance in finding work. This 1:1 service works with individuals to overcome any barriers they may have in entering the workplace. Also, sound and accurate advice and guidance relating to welfare benefits and how employment impacts on your benefit entitlement.

Department of Works and Pensions (DWP)
The DWP website provides a job search, support to apply for jobs, write CVs and prepare for an interview. As well as this, Gov.UK provides claimants with information about how they can get Working Tax Credit including how many hours they need to work to qualify.
