Accounts Summary for 2016/2017


Business Unit Service Net Expenditure was £12.829m (excluding specific items and capital charges). This led to a year end  underspend of £1,378,000


Expenditure on Capital Projects amounted to £28.631m

Cash Reserves

Cash held in Reserves and Balances amounted to £29.577m at 31st March 2017. The cash held has increased by £5.208m since 31st March last year. 

Collection Fund

Total income received from Council Tax and Business rates was £136.630m. The Collection Fund balance at the year end was a £2.768m deficit.
