Mid Sussex District Council will not use text messaging to contact you about parking Penalty Charge Notices and Business Rates
Text messages will only be sent as reminders to pay Council Tax
You may have recently received a text message claiming that you have an outstanding Penalty Charge Notice. This is part of a text messaging scam.
The Council will only ever send text messages as reminders to pay your council tax and business rates. When texts are sent, the message will appear from ‘MidSussexDC’.
Mid Sussex District Council is aware of this activity and is taking action. Please ignore or block these messages.
