Spring into action with Easter Play Days
- 27/03/2026
There’s no need for children to be bored during their Easter break!
Mid Sussex District Council is running three ‘Spring into Action’ Play Days on 31 March, 1 and 7 April, in three different outdoor locations across the district. The events are designed for children under 10, but everyone is welcome to join in the fun.
Following popular demand, with attendances topping 6,578 in 2025 and with over 1500 people already attending the February events this year, the Council is pleased to build on the success of these events by bringing in different activity providers, new games, crafts, and sports.
Families don’t need to book; just turn up and take part. All equipment is provided, and activities will include circus skills, games, football, rugby and cricket skills, tennis coaching, and lots more.
Cllr Anne-Marie Cooke, Cabinet Member for Communities and Communications, said: “I'm delighted that these free activities for local families are so popular and are offering children and their parents' new opportunities for activity, fun, and learning during school holidays.
“The Spring events are being held in our award-winning parks, several of which we’re upgrading, which will give families even more to enjoy. We look forward to seeing lots of our residents making the most of these events this year.”
All sessions will run between 2pm and 4pm at the following venues:
31 March: Victoria Park, Haywards Heath
1 April: Mount Noddy, East Grinstead
7 April: St Johns Park, Burgess Hill
Get ready for creative activities and plenty of outdoor fun.
