Green Flags retained by four Mid Sussex parks

Mid Sussex District Council’s four Green Flag parks have retained their status, with the prestigious award being given again to Beech Hurst Gardens, Victoria Park, St Johns Park, and East Court & Ashplats.

Each park has now held their Green Flag status for several consecutive years in recognition of their quality, with Beech Hurst Gardens holding their Flag for over a decade.

We’d like to thank our staff and our green spaces contractor Glendale for their work tending our parks, and East Grinstead Town Council for their maintenance of East Court and partnership on its Green Flag application.

We hope that residents enjoy our parks over the summer. We will continue to invest in our green spaces, with improvement work planned for St Johns and Victoria Park.

Councillor Chris Hobbs, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Leisure and Customer Services, said: “We’re delighted that our amazing green spaces have been recognised again.

“We spend a lot of time and money on them to ensure that they are in the peak condition, and we hope that residents will enjoy them over summer”
