Free AI event to help Mid Sussex businesses prepare for the future

Mid Sussex District Council is inviting local businesses to a free event on Tuesday 8 September between 5pm and 7pm to explore the opportunities and challenges of artificial intelligence (AI).
Exploring the Future of AI will take place at Mid Sussex District Council Offices, Oaklands Road, Haywards Heath. The event will bring together local businesses, alongside industry and cyber security professionals to share practical advice on adopting AI with confidence.
The following speakers will cover AI governance, cyber security, risk management and practical business adoption.

- Lars Hyland, Founder, Enlytning
- Yann Davies, Managing Director and Cyber Security Consultant, ABCOM IT Solutions

The event is part of the Council’s wider support for local businesses, helping them access expert guidance, new ideas and useful contacts.
The Council also runs regular business drop-in sessions at Basepoint Haywards Heath, with support from partners including the West Sussex Growth Hub, BIPC Sussex, the Department for Work and Pensions and the South East Cyber Resilience Centre.
