Council agrees next stage of Martlets regeneration work

On 22 July, Full Council agreed the next stage of the Martlets regeneration project in Burgess Hill.

This decision allows Mid Sussex District Council, NewRiver REIT plc and their partners to continue working on plans to redevelop the site through the proposed joint venture. The project is moving forward despite challenging economic and public funding conditions.

If the remaining conditions are met, work on site is expected to begin later this year.
