Mid Sussex District Council launch wellbeing campaign

2024005 - 19/01/2024

Mid Sussex District Council is kicking off the New Year by launching a new wellbeing campaign to shed some light on the great projects, businesses and initiatives within the community.

The campaign aims to encourage wellness and focus on mental health, physical health and general wellbeing. The Council hopes to inspire healthy lifestyle choices and motivate individuals to visit local leisure centres, parks and green spaces and more.

The Mid Sussex Wellbeing Service is also promoting many free services that are on offer throughout the region, including workplace wellbeing workshops, alcohol wellbeing advisors, stop smoking services, tips on how best to look after mental health, and much more. It is a friendly and impartial service that works with the local authority and other partners to offer residents a range of support.

Alison Bennett, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Communities & Communications at Mid Sussex District Council, said: “There are a wealth of opportunities in the local area that will help to contribute to a healthier, happier life. Not only do we have fantastic leisure facilities and green spaces on our doorstep, but the Mid Sussex Wellbeing Service stands as a pillar of support, offering free services, workshops, and advice to improve your health and wellbeing.

“If you want to make positive changes this year, then we are here to help support you throughout the process.”
