What is the District Plan?

The District Plan will be the main planning document used by the Council when considering planning applications.

October 2011 - Consultation Draft District Plan

At its meeting on the 19th October 2011, Council approved the Consultation Draft District Plan for consultation. The consultation started on the 24th October for a period of 12 weeks, closing on 13th January 2012.

April 2011 - Timetable Agreed for Production of the Mid Sussex District Plan

Full Council considered a report on the arrangements for the production of the District Plan on 20th April 2011. Members unanimously adopted the outline timetable for the production of the District Plan. The report, which includes the timetable, can be downloaded from the following link:
