Household Waste Recycling Sites
Please note the following restrictions apply at all West Sussex County Council HWRS sites:
- There will be some seasonal changes to the days sites are open
- Check opening days and times online using the site links below
- Social distancing measures are in place
- West Sussex residents driving vans, pick-ups, trailers or commercial vehicles to dispose of household waste must obtain a valid permit
- ID will be required from all vehicles attending site

Please note the following requirements before visiting:
From 1 October 2018 West Sussex residents who drive a commercial-type vehicle need to have a van, pickup and single-axle trailer waste permit to dispose of their household waste at the HWRS.
From 1 December 2019 anyone using a West Sussex HWRS will need to provide proof of residency in West Sussex. Further information can be found here.
