Pop To The Shops

We are working to encourage residents to support our local shops with a clear message that this is good for our community, our economy and the planet.

Before the Coronavirus epidemic around £1 in every £5 was spent online, now that is £3 in every £5. Despite this research from PwC has shown that two thirds of people will try to support local businesses and buy locally going forward.

ShopAppy

ShopAppy works by enabling local independent shops and businesses to show information, products and services they have for sale in our District all in one place. The site brings all of the products and services together into categories so you can search for items easily or you can choose to look at the products in your favourite shops instead.
