Rubbish and recycling collection day changes 2020
PR2326/ED/MF - 17/12/2020
Mid Sussex District Council is reminding residents that rubbish and recycling collection days will change over the Christmas and New Year period.
Collection changes begin on Saturday 19 December and end on Saturday 2 January 2021.
Bin hangers with details of collection changes over the festive period have been hung onto the handle of wheelie bins and flyers are available to download from the Council website. Collection changes have also been published in Mid Sussex Matters (which is sent to all homes in the District) in the run up to Christmas.
Householders can access personalised information about their collection days online by entering their postcode at www.midsussex.gov.uk/collectioncalendar.

Householders with a real Christmas tree can recycle it in their garden waste bin as long as the lid can be closed. Alternatively there will be temporary sites where residents can drop off real Christmas trees for recycling. These sites will be open between Wednesday 30 December and Friday 8 January 2021 (inclusive) and locations can be found at www.midsussex.gov.uk/treerecycling.
