Candidates announced for Haywards Heath Town Council by-election in Franklands Ward

Mid Sussex District Council has announced the names of the candidates who will be standing in the Haywards Heath Town Council Franklands Ward by-election on Thursday 19 October 2017.

A seat is vacant on Haywards Heath Town Council after Councillor Jed Dwight took the decision to step down in August. A by-election will now be held for registered electors in the Haywards Heath Franklands Ward only; residents living in other areas of Mid Sussex will not be eligible to vote.

The candidates for the Haywards Heath Franklands Ward by-election are as follows:

Maria Elena BURRELL (UKIP)
Emma Victoria CLAYTON (The Conservative Party)
Linda GRACE (Labour Party)
Stephanie Josette INGLESFIELD (Liberal Democrats)
Stephanie Ann WENT (Independent)

Poll cards have been posted out to everyone who is registered to vote. Residents with the elector number prefix HAB should note that they will be voting at the Ashenground Community Centre for the first time. Voters with the prefix HAA will vote at Franklands Village Hall as usual.

Postal vote packs are now being dispatched and postal voters are asked to return their completed ballot papers as soon as possible, but in any event, before polls close at 10pm on Thursday 19 October 2017.
