The Council is run by Councillors, who are elected by the local community. Councillors are in charge of making decisions about local services and budgets, each representing a specific area of work and serving for four years. The work of a Councillor includes holding surgeries to help local people, supporting local organisations, campaigning on local issues, and developing links with the community. The underlying aim of the work that we do is to enhance all service provision to every customer, and to continuously improve how we perform as an organisation.
We constantly strive to make Mid Sussex a better, safer and more exciting place to live in. We want to enhance our environment and revitalise our towns.
