The Healthy Mid Sussex Partnership was established in 2009 with the aim of promoting healthy lifestyles and reducing health inequalities in Mid Sussex. It is a sub group of the Mid Sussex Partnership and is responsible for delivering the supporting healthy lifestyles theme of the Mid Sussex Sustainable Communities Strategy. The Healthy Mid Sussex Partnership is made up of the following statutory and voluntary organisations and is supported by NHS West Sussex.

In 2009 / 10 The Healthy Mid Sussex Partnership has provided project funding for;
- Employment of a Healthy Walks Coordinator
- Warmer Winters - An Affordable Warmth Project
- Fun Fit - A physical activity programme for young people
- It Happens - A teenage pregnancy peer mentoring project
- Springboard Buddies scheme for young people with disabilities
- A mental health information project for gypsies and travellers
- Mid Sussex Workplace Health Initiative including grants scheme 330kb and free Managers managing stress course on 25th May 2010 580kb
How to have your say on health and well being issues in Mid Sussex
The Mid Sussex Health and Well Being Network is open to any organisation with an interest in health and well being of people who work, live or visit Mid Sussex. The network meets three times a year to discuss local health issues, share information and informs the Healthy Mid Sussex Partnership of local health and well being priorities. The chair of the network is a member of the Healthy Mid Sussex Partnership
