Greener Spaces front cover

The Park Rangers have been working in partnership with other Council Officers to produce an environmental education programme called Greener Spaces: Better Places.

This programme brings together several education sessions that the Council is able to offer schools including responsible dog ownership, litter, recycling, ecological footprinting and visits to parks and nature reserves. Each session is packed with information and fun activities delivered by trained and enthusiastic staff. The programme is linked to the National Curriculum and is aimed at primary schools but the activities may also be suitable for other groups.

A copy of the programme, Greener Spaces: Better Places (pdf, 1614.2kb) can be downloaded here or under the links at the right hand side of this page.

The Rangers are also available to come in and talk to groups such as youth clubs, cubs and brownies. We also offer guided visits to many of our nature reserves, incorporating lots of fun activities such as minibeast hunts and environmental games.

For more information or to book a Ranger visit please contact Rangers@midsussex.gov.uk  or call 01444 477561.
