Ansty

Ansty is a small settlement about four miles from Haywards Heath. Its village sign, situated at the Ansty Cross, was painted by the renowned local artist James Forsyth. Ansty possesses its share of old houses, Leigh Manor was built in 1550 and The Ancient Farm dates from the 1400s.

The Ansty Cross public house was built on the site of an old coaching inn and is today a popular refreshment stop for those touring the area.
