Draft District Plan published
The Council has published the draft District Plan and housing numbers for our area. Residents have until 17 June to comment before it is submitted to Central Government for approval.

New Council Chairman
Councillor Gordon Marples is the newly elected Chairman of Mid Sussex District Council. He will hold the position for 12 months during the civic year that runs until May 2014.
New adventure playground
East Grinstead residents have chosen new rope bridges and swings to be installed at Mount Noddy Recreation Ground after responding to a Council consulation.
Faster broadband
Superfast broadband will be rolled out to 98% of West Sussex homes and businesses within the next three years.
