The Council is a member of the Sussex Homemove scheme, which is a partnership of 11 authorities in East and West Sussex who are operating Choice-Based Lettings (CBL). Choice-based lettings schemes give people applying for social housing more choice about where they live by allowing people to 'bid' on available homes.
You need to join the Council's Common Housing Register to bid on a home in Mid Sussex. The Council's housing register is run for the Council by the Homemove Team at Clarion Housing.
Please note: Clarion Housing has decided to take control of all transfers within its own housing stock. It now allows its tenants to apply for a transfer to a new home with Clarion Housing through its own national choice-based letting system called 'Home Choice' at myclarionhousing.homeconnections.org.uk. With certain exceptions, Clarion Housing tenants are no longer able to join the Council's housing register or bid on Homemove. If you have any questions about this please contact Clarion Housing's Housing Options Team by emailing them at email@example.com.
