2015 General Election

Thursday 7th May 2015 is UK General Election day.  Voters in their parliamentary constituencies will elect Members of the UK Parliament and this will help shape the make-up of the HM Government for the period 2015-2020.

Registered electors of the Mid Sussex District who are eligible to vote in Parliamentary elections are also eligible to be a candidate.

Candidate briefings were held on Wednesday 25th February 2015 and Thursday 12th March 2015.

If you are considering standing as a candidate at the parliamentary election please read the guidance from the Electoral Commission link below.

The nomination period is 1st April - 9th April (4pm).  Please call us to make an appointment.

Look out for delivery of your Poll Card early April 2015.  This will tell you what you need to know about voting and at which elections you are entitled to vote on 7th May.
