In developing our corporate business plan for 2012-13 the Council has considered the impact of changes it proposes to make on different sectors of the community, in particular those protected by the Equality Act. This document summarises our conclusions. We have, throughout our plans and despite the need to make significant savings, tried to protect front-line services, and in particular have been mindful of the need to protect services to more vulnerable residents. The Equalities Impact Assessment summaries those assessments and the proposed mitigating actions.
